Positive Discipline gives teachers the tools to teach young children to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities in ways that are empowering for children and adults. The premise of the model is to help children find a sense of belonging and significance through these criteria.

Helps children feel a sense of connection.
Is mutually respectful and encouraging.
Is effective long term.
Teaches important social and life skills.
Invites children to discover how capable they are.
