Welcome to the First Born Program

First Born® supports healthy children and strong family relationships.

First Born is a universal home visiting program for first-time parents. We believe that home visiting should start early, occur frequently and be fun!

early

70% of families in 2022 enrolled in the program during pregnancy.

frequent

Families can expect weekly visits in the first year of their child’s life.

fun

Home Visitors support families through challenges, and always plan a fun activity. Families can expect to be heard, respected and to laugh frequently.

First Born and More refers to add-ons to the program, like contract training, preschool curriculum and home visiting in some communities that is available to any family who is expecting or has a child under 5.

Based on the belief that well-supported families are the foundation of healthy communities, First Born focuses on strong relationships and health in the early years.
